Sippi (Indian sweetmeat)


 Hello Friends, are you looking for a teatime snack to share with your family and friendsπŸ˜‹☕? Well I have got the perfect one for you ! You will definitely need an adult to help you out, because fire can be dangerous...πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ I love to cook different kinds of food so these are a little familiar to meπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‹.

WHAT YOU NEED 

  • 500 grams flour
  • 1/2 cup of coconut milk                                               


  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

TO MAKE THE SYRUP                    

  • 250 grams of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of water 

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

        Sieve flour and mix in the coconut milk and salt.  Knead well and make a soft dough. Make very small balls. Take a fork, press one and water together and boil slightly until it thickens. Mix the fried Sippi in the sweet syrup..  In sinhala this sweet is called Gajur and sini battoπŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜‹ Enjoy!!☕☕πŸ‘πŸ˜
